I am a Transition Student… again. I spent the first six months at Columbus doing absolutely nothing. Now that I'm waiting to move to Corpus for T-44 training, I am again getting paid to do nothing. I can't complain, though. It's a nice break from having to be responsible.
I've got my orders to move to Corpus, but I have yet to get the amendment that sends me to the mandatory water survival training in Pensacola. In effect, I'm stuck in my out-processing until it arrives. Hopefully, it will be here before the 25th of January. That's the day I start in Pensacola.
I wish I could start studying for Phase Three. There are two squadrons at Corpus: one trains in the T-44A and the T-44C, and the other trains in the TC-12. All three have different procedures… So I've decided to reread some of the Air Force pubs.
