Start of Week 5 ASBC

Last week went by very slowly. It was just more of the same: Air Force Doctrine, Theory, and History. I swear if I see one more slide about Strategy-Operational-Tactical objectives I'll explode. If you're ever at a loss for words on an AF base, say one of those three words and someone will think you know what you're talking about.

I took the test. I didn't get the 100% that I had hoped to get. That's ok, though, because I passed and that's all that really counts. it was a 36 question test and it was pretty tricky. There were a lot of answers that contained correct information, just not correct enough to answer the question. Be careful future Lts!

We're starting our Combined Ops week now. We get split up from our flights and intermingle with the Senior Non Commissioned Officers. There's are the top of the top of the enlisted corps. They've all been in for 15-20+ years and they know their stuff… and we're supposed to drop into their program and lead them in the activities. I really hope it's not awkward. I doubt it will be because they are really professional.

Today we ran three miles for time. I ran it in 22:25, which I'm really happy about for not training at all! I bought some Nike running shoes with the dongle in them that tracks your pace, cal burn, and distance. I have to say it was a good purchase.
